Congradulations from Team CARPdiem to all the competitors who took part in the fist World Carp Classic qualifier in Spain. The winners Fran Granados and Jorge Sacristian are delighted with their result. The event celebrated last week on the mighty reservoir Orellana in Extremadura was a total success. 85% of those who fished caught carp over 5kg. The winning pair Fran Granados and Jorge Sacristian caught 40 carp over 5kg for a total weight of 369,5kg (814lb). No mean feat on a lake notoriously difficult as Orellana. We wish the pair all the best in France where they will fish the final on Lac Madine in September 2010.
