New Carp World Record

Angling Times have today released an a news article which states that the world record Carp has been smashed by a colossal mirror weighing 87lb 2oz. The Carp was caught for the second time on a Mainline HI viz Pinapple Pop-Up. Last November Gary hit the headlines when he caught the same fish at the then world best of 83lb 8oz (photo right), the fish known as the «Big Girl», pulled Gary’s boat about the picturesque lake for about 10min. last time!

The Big Girl has since put on some beef. Last time the lucky angler caught the most wanted Carp in the world using two 14mm Premier Baits Matrix Boilies fished over 2kg of Response pellets and 1kg of Hemp.
